It is recommended for evening wear. What is a Tester? A Tester is a perfume with no fancy packaging but with the same exact fragrance at an even better price. They are just like the one used to test the perfume in a Department Store but supplied in a plain box and often have the word tester printed on the bottle. Sometimes they do not come with a cap or box. These items are great for personal use but may not be great as gifts. Our testers are new unopened and have never been sprayed.(Testers and unboxed product are exactly the same as the regular perfume, except testers usually come in a plain box--with or without a cap. Unboxed products are the perfume or bath product, only without the box.)

Estee Lauder Youth Dew by Estee Lauder has been around... well, just about forever. Joan Crawford confessed that it was one of the perfumes that she "would never want to live without."
Youth Dew is one of those scents with the power to emotionally take you back to another era, when the women I idolized in black and white movies were the kind of dames I dreamed of someday becoming.
I may not be Joan Crawford, but, at least I can wear one of her all-time favorite scents!

Youth Dew and Youth Dew Amber Perfume

This is the best ever perfume, over the years I have tried a lot of the popular selling perfumes depending on the year and who had what out. I even shopped for perfume several times while in "France" I first tried this in the early 80's and now it is 2010 and I've come back to an all time, best ever fragerence Estee's Youth Dew. Even Chanel#5 can't stand up to this all time favorite for me. If you think this may a wee bit too strong grab Youth Dew Amber while you can still get it from Amazon.com, it is a lighter version of Youth Dew and is currently being discontinued by the folks at Lauder. I can't understand why but I've started grabbing both hand over fist the Amber for sure right now while supplies still last. If you love Jasmine and sandlewood you will love this sent. Even better is the more over heated you become during the day the more Youth Dew works for you, and it truly does. One thing to keep in mind with the Youth Dew not to spray it on your white blouces etc., the spray will show up on white clothing. The Youth Dew Amber very similar in sent (same really just a towned down version) does not leave a spray residue. Buy it, use it and you will really love Youth Dew and Youth Dew Amber both are really a great perfume and the perfume does not break down so that you can't smell it later on during your day, it keeps on working, working and working! Worth every cent!
