AN ATTRACTIVE MASCULINE FRAGRANCE
Review Date: November 25, 2005

Long appreciated for his women's wear designs Shanghai born Alfred Sung introduced his first fragrance in 1986, "Sung, Alfred Sung." Since then he has offered several popular scents, among them are "Forever," "Pure," and "Shi."
Once he turned his attention to men's fragrances he enjoyed the same success, beginning with "Sung Homme" in 1988. "Hei," his latest scent for men is also sure to please with its green, fresh fragrance underscored by spices, woods and musks. Nature augments the fragrance with notes of Fennel, Neroli, Jasmine, Lavender, and Cardamon. There's even a hint of spearmint.
The bottle is pure Sung, a water drop in a rich blue tone capped by a darkened metallic round. On the top panel of the blue box is found the Chinese symbol for energy, an appropriate description of this scent.

I have been purchasing this scent for about 6 years now. My husband loves it and so do I. I went into the dept store one year at Christmas and was looking for a scent for my husband to wear. I went thru everything in the counters and was about to give up when the sales lady came up and asked if she could help me. I stated what I was looking for. She then said she knew exactly what I was looking and pulled this from behind the counter. I feel in love with it as did my daughter. This is definently a scent you only share with that special someone.

I love this on my husband! It is a great daytime fragrance. Hei has a very clean smell, not spicy and not "powdery." Very crisp and pleasant.
counterfiet or just old?

I have used Hei for many years and love it. Always bought it at a department store. I thought I'd try buying it much more cheaply off the internet.. MISTAKE!!... it was either not the real deoderant in the container, or so old and rotten that it had chemically broken down... the contents were some rancid smelling ( yes RANCID!!) dark yellow ( the real stuff is cloudy clear) and crumbling goop. Definitely NOT the Hei I know. I dared not apply it to my skin for fear of some toxic reaction!... But to the seller's credit they refunded my money quickly with no trouble at all. I suspect they sent it to me directly from some factory and not from their own location. ... Doubtful I'll try another cologne/deoderant from the internet
