I bought Notorious for my two of my niece's for Christmas at their request. They were thrilled as they love the product. I have never tried. My niece's are around forty years old.

Well, the perfume is what it is. Hopefully you've smelled it somewhere before ordering it.
I'm writing this review for the retailer "perfumespace.com". They followed up on UPS's lack of delivery when neither Amazon, nor UPS did so.
After filing a claim with UPS for non-delivery, Perfume Space phoned to say that they did the same and had already shipped another bottle of perfume.
I wish that Amazon had noticed (as they had in past orders, by the way) that no delivery was made, but perfumespace more than made up for the mistake made by UPS.
Now one of my favorites!

I have always loved Ralph Lauren's Romance and always get compliments on it, so I thought I'd give Notorious a try for a bit of a change. While I still prefer Romance for everyday use because of its clean light scent (it's more easy on the nose and for enclosed spaces), I have to admit that Notorious lends itself nicely to special occasions and formal events. The sent is deeper and more sophisticated. But beware: if you do not like stronger, heavier fragrances then you might not enjoy Notorious. I wouldn't necessarily call the fragrance "old lady," but it isn't as girly as many of the more recent popular fragrances. The scent is more classic and elegant - I like to think of style icons such as Grace Kelly and Jackie O. No Brittany or Hillary Duff here!
